I have GED to thank again for motivation. Would never have imagined these numbers when I created this challenge. I managed around 17+ minutes and just kept swinging. My hands started to blister and I hadn't contemplated that. The way this competition is going we will need to figure out how to eat and drink while swinging this bloody cannon ball. The steak and wine was awesome sand served as good motivation when the hands started to ache.

    Entry scores:

    • Kettlebell Figure 8's: 323
    • Weight of Competitor: 75
    • Weight of kettlebell: 22.5

GedMustoNumber1: As Queen once famously sang 'We are the Champions My Friend and we'll keep on fighting to the end'...and we certainly done so in this famous clash of the titans...Massive well done...
AndyWeaver: Ged, yours is not a poor second for sure. You actually did a harder version as you stayed bent over and were much smoother. As a multi world record holder you have done some endurence challenges I could not imagine. This comes from someone who onc
GedMustoNumber1: Andy, hope the fillet and the wine tasted great...you are the true champion in this challenge and I am a very poor second..;)
GedMustoNumber1: Andy, even I have to concede defeat in this challenge, privilege being 2nd in this one, I felt I could've done the 50 plus to have done the 300 looking at my vid, for some reason the vid is taking ages to upload, stuck overnight on 50%,doing the remain
AndyWeaver: Video exceeded the YouTube limit so I broke it into two parts. First is about 15 minutes, actual video is over 18 minutes with 17 minutes of actual figure 8's. Some overlap of the two videos.
GedMustoNumber1: PHENOMINAL!!!!!....Nothing much more to say, that was one brilliant challenge, may give this one final try And but it won't be for some time to come...;)
GedMustoNumber1: Excellent job Andy..Great challenge though i'm going to give this a try with my 20kg and coming in at the 68.5/69kgs mark should be able to post up a decent score...looks hideous though mate..

  • Well done Ged, I figured you might come back and topple me. I like the competitiion. Not sure when but I will give this another go. Its a big number and will likely take at least 12 minutes to beat. It now has to go by time when I make the attempt, counting is to hard when I am in the zone so I just try to keep it steady. I will wear a heart rate monitor to see where it stays during the attempts. Feels like its north of 150 for the duration, we will see. Awesome number indeed mate. Keep up the good work.

  • I was happy to survive my 20k trail race yesterday and decided it was time to get in the zone. Love the competition on this site as it motivates me to get fitter. Went for a specific time and ended up with 201 reps, and I was pumped after this one.

  • Ged, I knew you would come back and put up a big number. Worthster and I have suffered back and forth on many a challenge, the competition makes us stronger. Glad to have you here to motivate me. Just as with Worthster there are many events I can't touch you guys but I will bust my butt and suffer like a dog trying most of them. I am sure Worthster is out buying a kettlebell as we speak. I look forward to seeing your suffering on the video, will serve as my motivation for the next attempt. Keep it up mate.

  • Andy, incredible my friend, Phenominal in fact, much better rhythm, now I don't mind coming second to an effort like yours...This has the making of a Borg vs McEnroe tussle of all proportions!!!...I thought 110 would've been it and I have set benchmarks that has been cemented in concrete over my years of competing at the highest level, but now 150+ swings may be the target...no wonder many are not trying this, they'll watch us two and see the pain we are going through and decide to go for an easier one...Well Done again And, as Arnie famously said 'I'll Be Back' for yet another go...Andy, incredible my friend, Phenominal in fact, much better rhythm, now I don't mind coming second to an effort like yours...This has the making of a Borg vs McEnroe tussle of all proportions!!!...I thought 110 would've been it and I have set benchmarks that has been cemented in concrete over my years of competing at the highest level, but now 150+ swings may be the target...no wonder many are not trying this, they'll watch us two and see the pain we are going through and decide to go for an easier one...Well Done again And, as Arnie famously said 'I'll Be Back' for yet another go...:)
