Challenge for: all

Challenge goal: improve general fitness

Challenge targets: whole body

Level: intermediate fitness/ability

Age: any age

What does this challenge involve?

Load up a barbell with your bodyweight. Ex: if you weight 165 lbs, put 165 lbs on the bar.

Complete as many Overhead Squats as you can with that weight. An Overhead Squat is done with feet about shoulder width apart, toes pointed outward up to 45 degrees, and the bar held up overhead with arms locked out. While keeping the bar over your center of gravity (middle of the foot) begin to squat by sticking your hips down and back. You need to arch your lower back, push your knees out, and stay on your heels throughout the movement. The crease of the hip must pass below the top of the knee, and you need to stand all the way up on each rep. Do not bend the arms during the Overhead Squat. The bar must remain overhead until you cannot complete another Overhead Squat.

Type in your bodyweight and number of reps completed. See if you can get 15 reps!
