I don't like bragging and I don't give excuses for anything....With that being said, I like my work/workouts to speak for myself. I am working to rate myself a 1 very soon. Ever since I torn my achilles a year ago, I made a promise to myself to get in the best shape of my life....and I believe I have almost reached that goal!

Challenge for: all

Challenge goal: improve general fitness

Challenge targets: whole body

Level: suitable for all competitors

Age: any age

What does this challenge involve?

This is the fitness forum where you can ask questions about fitness, exercise or sport, answer other competitors questions, inform people of the latest fitness craze or simply chat and banter with your fellow sportsmen and women. Whilst not officially an 'expert' I have been a keen fitness fanatic for almost 20 years now and am as motivated about it as I was the first time I trained. Right, that's enough about me. Whilst I aim for this to be a Fitness Forum, since I've created it in Challenge format it's only correct I set a challenge - here goes:-
The "HOW FIT ARE YOU CHALLENGE". Just a bit of fun really, give yourself a rating out of 1 to 10. 1 being that you believe yourself to be in supreme fitness. 10 being that you are completely out of shape and unfit. Be as honest as possible.

  • @BradDawson: As far as I'm aware, a 6-pack has a lot to do with genetics. Everyone's linea alba and tendinous intersections are a different width - the wider they are, the more visible the 6-pack. But, if someone loves their 6-pack so much that they cover it with a layer of fat, it will go unnoticed. To start seeing muscle definition, one needs low body fat (roughly speaking, less than 15% (men) and 20% (women)). Apparently, the ab exercise which engages most ab muscles (they did studies on this and hooked people up to sensors) is the fitball pike.
