Challenge for: both male and female

Challenge goal: improve general fitness

Challenge targets: whole body

What does this challenge involve?

What's the most you can leg press for 5 good reps?
Legs must get to 90 degrees (or pretty damn close if you have an injury).

*227 kg. for 5 reps at a body weight of 91 kg. would equal a score of 2.5.

*Take your lifted weight and divide it by your body weight.

Video is proof.
Please be careful!
Don't forget to include the base weight of the leg press machine.

  • I see thanks bear. Ok just that although the challange is for a 'standard' leg press machine, each 'sled' weighs differently, and im not sure if the gym owner knows the weight of it. Although it doesent make a huge difference to the weight. (I know mine if very light) As said im awful at this- worst exersize in fact- but i will start to post scores on here regularly for it.

  • Exskinnybloke.....you are using the weight of the weights and machine. my leg press machine has a tare weight of 80lbs. I had 810 lbs. of plates on it.

  • Do you just take the weight added to the press machine? (I'm currently appauling at this btw, but it should motivate me) :D

  • lol, thanks PhilFit. Before I ruptured my achilles I was actually up to 950lbs. for reps of 4. I don't think I want to lift heavy anymore with my legs. Trying to get into running more. Can't run with big legs.
