Age: 13 to 122 years of age

What does this challenge involve?

Get a two handled medicine ball shoot for 5+ kilograms but use what you have if you don't have 5k. Grab the medicine ball with your dominate hand palm down on one handle. Now in a controlled moton lift the hand while you toss and rotate the Medicine Ball catching it after a half rotation on the other handle with the same hand. Repeat this as many times as you can without assistance from the other hand or your body until you drop it (watch your toes). Record the number of completed catches with your dominate hand.

Now immediately repeat the challenge with your Non-dominate hand. Record the number of completed catches with the non-dominate hand.

Add the total of the two hands and enter one score.

To let everyone know how you did with each hand put the score for each in the comment section of your score. Or better yet post a video and let us see :)

  • Ged, the key is to stick your just your thumb in as it comes around then close the hand, it takes some practice. Didn't realize the grips werent standard. Thanks for trying.

  • Andy, tremendous effort buddy...Have just tried this with my slightly heavier medicine ball and it's a case of a definite no-go, as the handles on mine are somehow a lot narrower than yours...it kept dropping out before I could get some kind of solid grip.., as you well know if the handles were the same size then I would most definitely be gunning for your top score..keep up the great work as always...:)

  • Ged, I know you have a medicine ball, if you haven't thrown it away after the circles gave us all blisters. I am going to do this a couple times a week until I get 100 on ech hand. Do it for 10 minutes straight and it is a good workout for some underused muscles in the hand, forearm and shoulder. Worthster, time to get a medicine ball.
