What does this challenge involve?

This challenge is for the seriously strong/ well trained. Good technique is essential, to even make one possible!

For this challenge the muscle up must be done on a bar. The winner is the person who can do the most. Lets say around shoulder width.



Below is a vid i've just found on what to do to actually make it possible.

  • Only one and not pretty. Bad angle but the bar is very far off the ground and it's not smooth and I sort of favored one side first but I got up unassisted. I am the King until someone above me posts a video.

  • I'd say i've nearly got the hang of the technique now. Although a huge amount of strength is needed to throw a proper pull up way past your collar bone, and past your chest(!) As a bit of a -slightly embarrassing- log, ave managed full technique, with cheating kick off and kip momentum on a low height bar, two part one arm and then the other, with full jump from the ground and kip momentum on semi high bar, and placement shuffle with jump and kip on high bar. I've got a lot of work to do...
