  • Just completed first (and last!) big run ahead of next week's Manchester Marathon. Despite torrential rain, a hold up due to a horse throwing it's rider, just 3 weeks of training and being 15 stone and nearly 38, managed 18miles in 2hrs 36 - so in theory on for about 3:45, maybe a little faster allowing for adrenalin.
